I ordered this for a friend of mine that is a professional driver. Installation was pretty simple, with only a minor hiccup or two, just follow the instructions as they are your best friend. It’s not splitting atoms, but if you’re not used to dealing with automotive installation, you’ll want to go step by step. The quality of the display is really good, they claim 4k hd, and though I cannot confirm this, the crispness of the image quality would appear so. Haven’t had much time to really test it, but the app works well and it stores footage. I think it holds a decent amount, something like 60GB and there may be settings that can be personalized to choose what is stored and for how long. All in all, this is a great option for the price point.

I recently purchased this camera. I was pleasantly surprised with the resolution, which is much better than I expected. The installation was straightforward, and the included instructions were helpful. This camera doesn’t require any wiring or modifications to the vehicle, and it can be switched from one car to another easily.
This gives peace of mind while driving. Records all the action & its good to view when back home to see if you did anything wrong or missed a light. Also helps to clear your doubt if you think you were pulled over for something that you didnt do.
One downside to this is, it works only with the provided cigarette lighter adapter. My new car doesnt have that port so I couldnt use in it. I have installed it on my older vehicle. It has a USB C port & I was expecting it to work with any USB charger but it didnt for my car.

This took me over an hour to install in my car. Figuring out how I was going to weave all the wires from the front of the car to the back took the most time. I wanted to put the rear cam outside above my license plate, but since I have a hatchback, I was going to have to either start drilling holes or pay a pro to do it, and I wasn’t willing to do either. So the rear cam is on the inside of the car with cables hanging everywhere, but it works. (Make sure to keep the rear window clean.) The cable clamps that stick to the window work until the sticky stuff decides to stop working, which is what happened to me.
I thought I could use the rear cam as a reverse camera, but it doesn’t really work that way, and it is really difficult to use for backing up. Connecting the cameras to Wi-Fi on my phone is easier to see, but it takes like five or six steps to get it to connect, so it’s not really practical for me to use it for going in reverse. I wish I could just open the app and it would automatically connect, but it doesn’t. My car cuts off all power to the power point as soon as I shut it off, so I can’t use the motion detection function.
The startup sound is pretty annoying, but fortunately you can turn that off. The screen is hard to see with sunglasses on for some reason, and there is no night vision, so driving at night is not going to be as useful as it could be.
These are all nitpicky things, and at the same time, this has been my experience. A few good things about it are that now if something happens while I’m driving, I have evidence of it. For the price of this unit, it’s worth all the other things I don’t like about it. It comes with a 64GB microSD card, which makes it easy to transfer videos, plus its own internal storage.
All in all, for the price, this is a solid unit and an inexpensive way to get video front/rear footage. Now I can get on record all the people who just can’t seem to stay on their side of the yellow lines.

Works as advertised. Records and has ongoing recording capabilities. I plug mine into the cigar lighter, simply tucking the wire to be subtle through the car. I am sure hardwiring would be a great look. Back camera is up to you, the installation there is a bit more.
