Welcome to another Dad’s Den Review. I review tech gear and help you make better decisions on the products you are interested in purchases. My goal is to help you “Work Smarter, Not Harder.” Here is my review of the Z-Edge T4 Touch Screen Dual Lens Dash Cam.
Disclaimer: I rate all of my reviews by how well they perform for the cost of the item. I don’t expect a dual dash camera that costs $180 to perform at the rate of a dash cam that costs $500.
Design/Features:
Both dash cams were easy to install and make of hard plastic. I dropped the front facing camera a couple times by accident and it had no problems.
The cables were long enough to reach to the back of my vehicle. The adhesives also came in handy.
Performance:
I was very impressed with the performance of this camera. The video quality of the cameras were very clear and crisp. It shoots in a very high quality 1080p. Even the videos during night driving were very clear.
I love all the additional features and the 4 modes of shooting. Each mode definitely has a purpose. I liked the parking mode so it can capture things that might happen to your vehicle even if you aren’t around.
Overall:
I think this dash cam performs outstanding especially for the price of $169. I know there are a lot of Dual Dash Cams on the market, but this one definitely lives up to the hype.

Only 3 stars because of the dock. It will lose suction some days, most likely due to big temperature swings. My larger issue is that is shakes a lot. This probably only affects vehicles with harder suspension (like commercial utes) on country roads. I haven’t tried running the video through an image stabiliser but from what I saw straight out of the memory card the video wouldn’t have been very useful on its own.
Probably a 4 or 5 star camera in a car that rides smoothly on decent roads.
