- Easy Installation: This wireless RV backup camera system is compatible with Furrion pre-wired RVs, perfectly fitting the Furrion pre-wired plug and utilizing the same mounting holes, eliminating the need for additional drilling. Installation on vehicles without pre-wired mounts is also incredibly simple—just secure the camera with screws and connect it to the vehicle’s power source. For pre-wired RVs/trailers, the camera is typically powered by turning on the vehicle’s lights.
- IP69 Waterproof Camera with Night Vision: The IP69 waterproof rating ensures reliable performance in extreme weather conditions, such as heavy rain or snow. With a 120° viewing angle, it provides a perfect rear view. Equipped with 6 infrared lights and a light sensor, the infrared lights automatically activate in low-light environments, delivering clear and HD images continuouisly.
- Dual Antenna for Strong Signal: The 2.4GHz proprietary wireless communication ensures a reliable digital connection with no delay between the camera and the monitor. With a high-speed reception range of up to 100 feet, it delivers real-time images without interference.
- Clear 7-inch IPS Screen: The 7-inch full-color IPS screen can display clear images from up to 4 cameras, providing comprehensive coverage. It comes with both a windshield suction cup mount and a desktop stand for convenient viewing. Parking guidelines make reversing safer and more convenient.
- More Upgraded Features: With loop recording, simply insert an SD card to record moments or evidence of your vehicle. The image can be set to either front view or rear view as needed. If you add more cameras to the system, it can be set to split-screen mode, allowing you to monitor your surroundings simultaneously.
- For GMC, Chevrolet, or newer GM vehicles, you may need to use a Furrion 7-way adapter (not included) or a 12V PWM filter (not included). This is because newer Chevrolet/GMC models use a PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) power signal transmission. The pulses from this system can interfere with the image transmission, potentially causing signal loss. Using the adapter or filter ensures a stable connection and proper functionality.
- The BW7 system is called “wireless” because it transmits the video signal from the camera to the monitor without physical cables, it still require wiring because the camera needs power to operate and the wired power connections ensure a stable and consistent power supply, which is crucial for the camera to function properly. The “wireless” aspect refers to the video signal transmission, not the power supply.

When I received the box everything was packaged well and the product itself was very sturdy. The manual explained in detail the different ways to hook the camera up to the trailer. The unit can be installed in a prewired trailer or as a new install. I purchased this backup camera to replace my Furion 4inch unit. The Furion worked, but I always wanted to get a larger viewing screen. Installation was easy as basically you remove four screws and remove the other housing and screw the new housing up. My trailer came prewired so connecting the existing power was a snap. As soon as I powered everything up the 7 inch screen connected right away. I have a 38ft travel trailer so I was a little concerned about the distance. The picture that came through was very clear. I definitely would recommend this backup camera to anyone looking a quality backup camera.

Evidently modern LED technology in your truck causes problems with the video feed from this system. The display freezes or goes black while being used. Evidently late model truck LED systems do not provide a continual current of 12V to the camera as it is wired into the parking lights on the RV trailer. This pulsed voltage causes the camera to power off and becomes useless. The company was quick to email me what the problem was and that it is in the description page of the camera system. I just didn’t see it. The fix is an additional cost of a trailer plug adapter or a wiring harness adapter for the camera from $50 to $65. So, that is the only part of the system that bothered me. It was easily installed and very straight forward. The picture is clear, I would have liked the camera angle to cover further back from the trailer as I wanted to see what traffic was behind me. The parking guidelines are a little wonky.
I am impressed with the seller. Very good communication regarding the issue that was really my fault for not reading it carefully. I’d like to see a bigger emphasis about the LED systems, but certainly can’t complain about how the seller handled my complaint. I’m keeping it, have ordered the adapter and we will go from there. They offered to take a return, I just don’t want to go through the hassle of taking it out and finding something else.

(UPDATE) my camper dealership installed this onto my camper, used it on my drive home and it connected fast, never had any connectivity issue on my way home, picture was clear and crisp!. The adapter I purchased for the monitor worked out great! So I’m also hoping that this company will make the side marker lights with built in camera that’s equalivant to the furrion ones. Ordered this for my jayco camper that already has the furrion base, had to order an adapter cable due to my truck does not have a 12V outlet, that cable did not work, so I had to order another adapter, I found a usb-a to 12v adapter then I tested out the system and It works great, monitor is crisp and clear, connectivity was good it connected to the camera instantly granted it was about 10feet away. My only complaint is that this company should include that usb to 12v adapter, or at least make the monitor a type c or micro usb as a power source instead of spending more money on adapters just because most newer vehicles like mine doesn’t have the 12v outlet. Once this system gets installed and mounted I will use it and give an update and possibly another star or 2.

Very easy to setup as it is prewired for the Furrion camera system that comes with campers/RVs now. Just make sure you have your headlights turned to on so the camera can receive electricity. Camera works as intended and has a very clear picture.
